About

Also known as tand0c or k8. Kate is a RMIT university graduate with Bachelor of Design (Animation and Interactive Media) and is a part of RMIT Creative's Art Squad.

Kate has been a Finalist in 2021 for the Midsumma and Australian Post Art Award and in 2020 for LCI x Year 13's Folio Comp.

In 2020, Kate participated in Challenges Abroad's Cambodia Community Challenge. This entailed teaching primary school aged students about the creative arts and animation. They continued with their teaching career with Code Camp, taking on the role as Head Teacher and Teaching Assistant on multiple holiday camps. At the camps, they have taught stop motion animation and video editing.

Kate in their spare time enjoys playing with animals, volunteering with RMIT projects, such as Isonotes and with Tree Paper Gallery. They can also be found making zines. Some of their zines can be found online at their Issuu.

You can support their work on Ko-Fi.
